Day Support Services for Intellectual Disabilities and Blindness

Envision's Adult Day Support program is designed for adults who are legally blind and have an intellectual developmental disability. Through PRIDE, we develop programs with specialized activities based on a person’s goals and abilities. We encourage building self-confidence and growing self-esteem.

The weekly curriculum incorporates a balance of instruction, recreational activity, social training, and work experience. Activities are personalized to meet the needs of each of our clients while allowing them to explore new areas that interest them.  

Participants enjoy the time they spend being productive and accomplishing a goal, while gaining valuable work experience. Envision helps them be successful in their work, which provides an opportunity for participants to earn a paycheck through Envision Industries fulfillment services.

Meet our Program Manager, Jared Holcomb

Jared is a results-oriented professional with over a decade of experience and knowledge in the care of individuals with a variety of needs. He has a deep compassion for people and enjoys working with all ages and abilities to help them achieve their personal goals. Jared received his bachelors degree in social work from Wichita State University. He is trained in many areas of care including trauma informed care, safety, attachment disorders and mental health services.
