With a visual impairment brought on by type 2 diabetes, Marion has learned over the years how to maximize his eyesight. He uses his remaining vision to help fellow employees who are blind or visually impaired in any situation, whether it involves locating something that has been misplaced or providing training for an assignment. Cross-trained to manufacture eyeglass cases, military certificate holders, wall pockets and more, Marion is also ready to step up and contribute in other departments when needed.
“Before I began working here, I didn’t know how much people could do without sight,” Marion said. “It’s fun working at Envision Dallas and meeting new people all of the time. I enjoy training people who are blind. By learning new projects at Envision Dallas, I will remain motivated.”
