Early Bird Registration for the Livestreamed Multidisciplinary Event is August 7, 2023

WICHITA, Kan. (August 1, 2023) — Organizers of the Envision Conference through Envision University have set the agenda for the Envision Virtual Fall Conference with outstanding sessions and opportunities for professionals in the low vision rehabilitation field. The conference will be held via livestream webinar September 29 - 30, 2023. Envision Conference is the only multidisciplinary conference with the goal of closing practice gaps and disseminating the latest advancements in rehabilitation techniques, research and technology.

The two-day schedule of clinical education and research presentations will address topics covering a wide range of specialties, including optometry, occupational therapy, vision scientists, genetics, neurology and other areas. Highlights include:

  • Comparison of Changes in Visual Acuity of People with Low Vision While Using Three Models of Augmented Reality Devices, Sarika Gopalakrishnan, PhD, FAAO, of the Envision Research Institute

  • Addressing Critical National Challenges Related to Aging and Vision Loss, Panel Symposia with Pris Rogers, PhD, American Foundation for the Blind; John Crews, DPA, Vision ServeAlliance; Libby Murphy, MS, VisionServe Alliance; Nancy Miller, LCSW, VISIONS/Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired; Elly du PrĂ©, DPA, Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired
